I purchased a starter from here:

https://shop.culturesforhealth.com/collections/cultures/products/gluten-free-sourdough-starter

I'm drying some right now, as a back up, and I can send you some if you want me to. PM me your address.

My house is NOT GF, so if it's too risky, I understand. I'm not celiac, just get an itchy rash from gluten.
That is so kind of you to offer, thank you. :hugs If it were just me I'd take you up on that since I'm just gluten intolerant. But kiddo is super sensitive and we have to be a gf home.

I did check at Cultures for health and a few other places. The one that I could verify as safe for kiddo is out of stock, so if my own attempt doesn't work, maybe it will be back in stock eventually.

Most of our snow is gone...and it is Spring Like. 40+
degrees. Just mixed a Rye Bread. This is a first for me. Baked to go with neighbors corn beef. NEVER
worked with RYE FLOUR. I hear it is different and a
bit difficult to work. TIME WILL TELL. And Organic
Rye Flour was not easy to find for purchase.

Organic any kind of flour is hard to find, sometimes. My local grocery has organic AP flour. 2 lbs for $5.49! I can get 10lbs at Costco for $8.49. I got a couple bags my last trip.

Bob's Red Mill is a good source for various specialty flours. I found the sorghum flour I was looking for at a health food store.
