Nice!

I will be baking sourdough bread this weekend.

Did some more baking and experimenting. This is not really a stand alone recipe, but a VARIATION IDEA.
I will call it Cinnamon Balls Betsy.
Made Betsy Bread dough. Single portion just like recipe in INDEX.
Cut dough into 2 portions. Rolled out into a long sausage, and cut up into about 20 pieces.

Took each piece, rolled into a ball in my palms, and rolled them in a mixture of BROWN SUGAR, and CINNAMON.

Just dropped them into 2 separate pans. About 20 balls each. Took remainder of my brown sugar/cinnamon mixture, and divided equally among the 2 pans. (sprinkled on top)

I set aside for second rise,, (about 45 minutes) and then baked @350°F for 30 minutes.

Was only able to wait less than 10 minutes before you know what happened. :drool :drool :drool ,, No knife needed. I call this stuff Finger Food:highfive:

Notes:
I did knead a little extra flour in,, when I worked the dough into a sausage, and cut up into small pieces. Would have been too sticky to handle.

You can most likely do with any favorite dough, and just make balls and roll in favorite dusting.

GF friends:highfive:,, Try with GF dough:)
