Any Home Bakers Here?

Hubby makes ALL our breadstuffs, and I mean everything...bagels, sourdough loaves of all kinds, sandwich loaves, foccacia, dinner rolls, baguettes, brioches, multigrains etc etc, corn-based breads, muffins, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, scones, pizza doughs, pie dough. All so YUM! I am the queen of cookies, homemade tortillas and sopitos etc (strangly, hubs stinks at cookies, lol) He grinds some of his flour, flakes some of his grains (we have a dual KoMo) The rest of our flour we tend to buy in bulk from a mill in Utah.

Lately he has also tried his hand at homemade granola. My next goal is flour tortillas. I made our own masa by nixtalamizing dried corn, but I need to refine the technique. It was laborious. Tips appreciated!

Such a great hobby, and I look forward to getting ideas for both myself

I love baking! Sorry a lot of late on this but new😁. I just started baking cakes for other people. I love it so much! I do the yeast and I always love trying new things! My husband does too. And my 6 kids. I have also done cakes with wheat floor, which I am proud to say that after reading that it is tricky, I did it with success and no-one knew the difference!
