Any Home Bakers Here?

It's been weeks of heat here and a little rain this morning and it's just starting again 😀

I baked a cake with yeast today

Yeast Flour sugar , butter olive oil, 3 egg yokes and two of the white, vanilla cinnamon, foraged Blackberries soaked in honey and a apple
Here it is with yogurt and a drizzle of honey

I love yeasted sweets! I found a waffle recipe I love. There overnight yeast waffles. Talk about awesome. Talk about filling. And it's so nice waking up and all I have to do is put them on the griddle😁

There were 2 loaves,, which we started munching on while still warm. (about 15 minutes after out of oven):drool:drool:drool

Note: I'm not ashamed to admit,, that I did make a slight mistake. :old:barnie Always learning from my experimentation.
The Sweet Basil from the garden, I chopped the stem as well. That was the wrong move. I never thought that the stem would still be kind of tough. :idunno First time using such from the garden in a bread. The bread tasted delicious,, with the occasional piece of stem, as slightly annoying.
Looks so lovely..I made pizza yesterday. I love making pizza dough..I had fresh sage in the sauce. Sage freezes beautifully.

I don't mind a bit of stem. Catching a plane from UK, so save me plenty they look absolutely delicious 😋
