Any Home Bakers Here?

Third, I have an ooooold (older than anyone here) China pattern that has a million pieces (platters, plates, bowls, teacups…) that I like well enough, but not as much as I like my own, small, set. Which one do I keep?
Which do you use???

My "everyday" are Johnson Brothers Garden Bouquet. They were my grandmothers. Of course some pieces have been broken (and I make very bad words come out of my mouth when that happens). But I've been able to find some replacements.

I mention this because if you aren't using the pattern you like "well enough", you might make others extremely happy if you decided to sell them as "fill ins".

 I have three everyday patterns, and two good China patterns. I have two cabinets. :D
I suppose I am guilty of loving dishes too. I did give away one everyday set.

I have 3 china closets:
1. has my good china
2. has stemware
3. has my depression glass

Then I have my Grandmothers china that was bought in earlier 1940s and trimmed in 22 carat gold.

My father bought the dishes for her during WWII.

The last set of dishes are my everyday that is housed in a kitchen cabinet.

I JUST LOVE CHINA AND STEMWARE!

I use the old set because it’s complete. Well, I don’t have any glasses or salt and pepper shakers. Since my (from Target) turkey platter broke a few years ago, I’ve found that having three sizes of platters that match the dishes makes me happy.
My China pattern has the dishes, including bread plates and dessert bowls, the creamer, sugar bowl and teapot, and some serving bowls. Honestly, it’s a great set for an older woman wanting to have a luncheon.

The one set was given second hand in the forties.
Gold! That is what set me on this China trip in this thread. Our gold trim dishes aren’t desirable because “people today want to be able to microwave their ramen noodles, and put the dishes in the dishwasher. No one wants to hand wash dishes.” :th

Same here. The gold rimmed stuff was my mother's. We only used it at Thanksgiving and Christmas when I was growing up. It now sits in boxes in the knee wall upstairs along with the crystal stemware.
