Any Home Bakers Here?

Thank you this was mentioned to me and when I went to put out poor needle when she was dry it started to sprinkle. Told DH poor baby I washed off all her oils.

She spent the night in the crate.

Then I think it is a bit warm in here for her she gave me a shell less egg

So she is in the house now with a fan until I get a nice shelled egg. I kept her in the dark most of the day yesterday to rest her so no egg we will see what today brings.

But until I get the egg I like she is in sick bay

Maybe she was just a little stressed, I think that can cause a shell less egg? Hope she will get out of sick bay soon.

Must be the day for quick breads, now I'm wishing I would have made some. Share a picture with us of yours too @sunflour !

Will post pic even if ugly, I used almost 2 cups of blueberries, had them thawed so tossed them all in.

But they are rising nicely.

I saw a feather plucking night mare on the home page Once I get that out of my head I will return her to her flockin friends. Teenagers never wanna spend time with mom.

She looks better today head held high and everything
She makes noises when I bring the Chicks out, not sure if she is saying how cute they are

or siding with DH on numbers

She could prob go out now and be fine

But I am enjoying her company

She may actually really enjoy being in the house, she looked so comfortable being cuddled on the couch pic.

Oh be fine unless she gets picked on.
I saw a feather plucking night mare on the home page Once I get that out of my head I will return her to her flockin friends. Teenagers never wanna spend time with mom.

I doubt you would see anything that dramatic, but be ready to intervene if any issue. Maybe they all need a little splash of color to even things up

I had to say no.

I am finding that the ladies are loving me more when they come in alone for a bath and spend some time. Georgie (LF Cochin) sat on my shoulder while I was on BYC. She loved it. Now she dances when I go out to the coop she is the first to greet me.

Her selfies are so much better than mine And be she can type better than most.

Maybe because my gals are taken into the garage for grooming and they hate it. May have to move their beauty parlor inside.

I use the craft table to blow dry with treats on a towel.

I put them almost right outside in the summer, but I have enjoyed winter baths they are so friendly when it is just us. My badest rooster Bean coos when I hit him with the blow dry

But I have never felt the need for cold weather baths but the mud this year is awful and I stopped FF, Lots of yuckie feathers on the butts
