I need to stop taking a nap in the afternoon so that I can get to sleep at a decent hour and don't need a nap in the afternoon so that I can get to sleep...

Well, hunting is off the list for today. Had to take my shotgun to the gunsmith, because of a problem with the pump mechanism. I took it apart, put on some gun oil, put it back together, and it made it worse. I could not find the problem. All I know is that the bolt is rubbing against the receiver.

Talk about a bad time for it. Waterfowl season starts on the 19th.

It’s not all bad, though. If worse comes to worse, I have a friend who shotgun I can probably borrow.

Right now, I’m going over the organ pieces for church on Sunday. I will be playing.

As for baking, I found an interesting recipe if I get some waterfowl this season.
