Had an emergency I needed to take care of before I went to bed.

That’s not an astronomy photo. Those are burning embers in between my house and a school, on a very windy night.

This is how far it was from my house.

If I hadn’t walked out to listen to the wind when I did, I wouldn’t have seen it, and it probably would’ve started a fire.

I’ve already notified the guy that works at the school it was close to, as well as the volunteer fire department.

What caused it? I don’t know. However, it has been taken care of.

Going to bed.

Baked FOCACCIA BREAD
The recipe is below. Only difference I did,,,, skipped the beer ingredient, and substituted with same amount of water.
Here is my Play,, by,, play.
Aldi Focaccia.JPG

Note; the dough is quite stiff, and pulled away from bowl clean.

Sliced the tomatoes. I sharpened the knife SUPER SHARP... :yesss: Yes,, you probably could shave with it.:gig
IMG_20230427_161110706.jpg

Rolled out the dough, and let rest next 10 minutes.
IMG_20230427_161123470.jpg

Spread the topping.

Topped with sliced tomato.. Ready for oven. 400°F

Recipe states 15 minutes,, I checked at that time,, looked somewhat blonde, and decided to add additional 4 minutes. Dough received a nice light tan at that time.

I used that sharp knife to cut into portions.

Notes;;
Focaccia can be made with different topping options,, limited to only what you may have in imagination, and stock.
Next time I intend to experiment with different topping ingredients:thumbsup

Wednesday was a funny food day. First, my friend’s daughter was arguing, and getting in my way as I tried to get dinner on the table. I went to pour their soy milk (thick gunk), and added the chocolate syrup since neither actually likes the stuff. I poured my cow milk, and we sat down. First the daughter sneered, “what is this?! I don’t like it foamy!” I assured her it was the same stuff she always drinks. A minute later, her mother said, “something is wrong. This is too thick.”
I was so distracted by the child arguing, I had poured them whipping cream. :gig
At snack time, the daughter started pulling out gigantic strawberries. The largest was the size of a small apple! She spent a good ten minutes taking pictures of them with various toys.
Yesterday I used the chocolate cream to make cranberry scones. It’s not bad, but not something I’d ever do on purpose.

I have some soy milk from Costco that is actually quite good. It is Kirkland original and comes in shelf stable packaging.

I bet the scones are very tasty!
