Oh, man, Jared. You are a hero, for sure.If I hadn’t walked out to listen to the wind when I did, I wouldn’t have seen it, and it probably would’ve started a fire.

I have some soy milk from Costco that is actually quite good. It is Kirkland original and comes in shelf stable packaging.Wednesday was a funny food day. First, my friend’s daughter was arguing, and getting in my way as I tried to get dinner on the table. I went to pour their soy milk (thick gunk), and added the chocolate syrup since neither actually likes the stuff. I poured my cow milk, and we sat down. First the daughter sneered, “what is this?! I don’t like it foamy!” I assured her it was the same stuff she always drinks. A minute later, her mother said, “something is wrong. This is too thick.”
I was so distracted by the child arguing, I had poured them whipping cream.
At snack time, the daughter started pulling out gigantic strawberries. The largest was the size of a small apple! She spent a good ten minutes taking pictures of them with various toys.
Yesterday I used the chocolate cream to make cranberry scones. It’s not bad, but not something I’d ever do on purpose.
