Ahhh I am on mobile and do not have any of those fancy tools.
The link tool is on my android phone using the mobile version. It looks like an infinity loop.

You can copy and paste on a mobile device too.

Yes, and it's not automatic or expensive.  It's just a plastic 3-sided "box".  You cut between the gaps and you get even slices.

An electric knife and the cutting guide would probably set you back about $50-$60 AUD, easily covered by the expense of buying bread or sandwiches, IMO.

It's funny but I had one of those about 15 years ago because I couldn't cut a straight slice if I tried (never thought to use it with an electric knife too duh)

The funny bit is I've finally got back into baking bread again after all those years and despite the fact I haven't sliced bread very often in all those years my slices are coming out looking perfect this time and I'm not even using a guide. Looks just like a bought loaf that's been sliced. I cannot work out what has changed cause it's not been due to practice.

I ground up two cups of hard white wheat this morning and am making bread with it. I do not like to use straight whole wheat, so I have added white flour to make the dough.

The dough tastes very good so I can't wait to try the final product!

Yes I am working to find a whole wheat bread I like.
