Any Home Bakers Here?

Using my previous marble cake recipe, I used a 9x9 pan to make strawberry orange marble cake. The batter was thinner this time (as it should be), so I know margarine is better than butter unless you’re patient enough to properly bring butter to room temperature.
The bake time was about 45 minutes.

I always use butter 😳 it just tastes better 😎

:eek:Wish we'd known this 30 years ago!

If they were well drained and the flavor went with rest of the recipe, I'd think you could. I would guess that there might be some instances that you might do it once, and decide not to do it again. But it's an interesting idea.

Let us know if you do this.
I have used pickled veggies in a sandwich instead of regular, and in my opinion it tastes different, but not a bad different, especially in summer it is a nice idea, I’m not sure about winter 🤔

I am sorry I still mourn for loss.
Of course! I still miss every one of mine as well. There was one Golden retriever in particular, a very fine chap named Rigby.... I may never get over that one. But... I HAVE to have a dog to love. Being without is not an option.

I know! Every time I had to let one go, I thought I couldn’t bear to lose another dog, after 2 weeks, the house was so empty without a dog, I always got a new dog 🙈

Yes. The pain of losing a loved animal friend is overwhelming. But the pain of not having one is, to me, unendurable. Those are my options. Occasionally overwhelming pain, vs constantly unendurable pain. "No pain" is not an option. :idunno
