Morning Home Bakers not turning the oven on too darn hot.

Making General tsos chicken tonight. I really need some comfort food after an event that happened today.

I’m not gonna go into details, all I’m going to say is that I hate seeing severe memory issues in the elderly of my family.

Uhh, no, it’s not loss of family. They’re still alive, but its dementia.

After dinner, I baked some mocha cappuccino and some oatmeal cookies with chopped apricots from frozen rounds.

I’m not gonna go into details, all I’m going to say is that I hate seeing severe memory issues in the elderly of my family.

Yep, hard to watch your elders lose their faculties. I gather my uncle is heading down that road, he is 6 years younger than my Dad who is, thankfully, still all there at almost 95. My grandfather took that path, first noticeable in his mid 80s. He lived to a few weeks shy of 96.

I also have a loved relative suffering from dementia, it is hard on everybody!! Her hubby can no longer talk to a “sane” person, cos she can no longer carry a normal conversation, he has started always to interrupt her, which she doesn’t like, she knows she is kind of losing her mind and is very unhappy/sad about it and we see her vanishing more and more, as I said, hard on everybody

Unfortunately dementia is the part of life that is hard to understand and makes us very sad.

I am very sad, my oldest hen died today, I don’t have them with me right now cos I’m getting surgery on the 31th, but still it made me very sad, she was born Feb. 2012 and is the mother of my leading hen born Aug. 2013, who is still alive and laying eggs, farewell , Gin , she even still laid eggs this year!!
