Sorry, I don't have his recipe. If you don’t mind me asking, how do you make real apple cider vinegar? I’m not going to try it, I’m just curious.

Also, no need to add water because the apples provide plenty of liquid on their own.Theoretically speaking apple cider already has alot of sugars in it so there would be no need to add additional sugar to it. The sugar is simply added to feed the wild yeast
The wild yeasts are usually already on the fruit which is why you don't want to wash the fruit with water that has chlorine in it.How do you introduce the wild yeast, or is it just "stuff in the air?" Or do you use a bit of already made ACV as a starter?
Hardest thing about making your own wine is keeping everything sterile so that only the yeast you want is the one doing the fermenting.I would looove to make my own wines my husband would probably disagree![]()
It is not that difficult. My aunt used to make wine so I gave it a shot a couple of years ago.I would looove to make my own wines my husband would probably disagree![]()
Nope, don't peel them.Soooo... Could I take a bunch of apples and juice them... add a kombucha scoby... and make my own ACV...?
Just read your last post. So I wouldn't peel them?
Oh that sounds lovely! It is not that difficult. My aunt used to make wine so I gave it a shot a couple of years ago.
I used blueberries that my wife and I picked and froze the year before.
It was OK when I bottled some of it. Two years later it is very good. I am sure that wine snobs would not agree, because the wine is on a sweet side but I like it.
