Hi everyone,

I’m not repairing the car yet, it’s gonna take two people.

Anyway, I have a question. I’m making my mom a pumpkin pie for her birthday today. I went to get the brown sugar, and I noticed that somebody made a mistake.

Somebody mixed white and dark brown sugar on accident. Will this be a problem in the recipe if I use a mixture of both?

It will not be a problem!

I switch up light and dark brown sugar often. Costco only sells light here so sometimes I have a bit of dark left over if I buy the sugar from costco.

If you are concerned that the flavor will not be the same with some light mixed in, you can add a tablespoon of molasses.

You can even mix the fake sugar with brown sugar 1:1 to reduce the sugar content.

@R2elk I didn’t know that. Thanks for pointing that out. If I ever need to cut back on sugar, I’ll try that.

Anyway, I found out why the radio in my car is not working.

I can’t believe it was that obvious. How we missed that, I don’t know.

Anyway, I need to take a break. I need a second person to help me with a fuel pump, so I have to put it off.

It is often something like a fuse or an o ring!

Not yet, I have to figure out where the fuel filter is first.

It’s a 1996 Subaru Legacy Outback.
