Any Home Bakers Here?

Today I baked Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies. They're big. I haven't decided if I like them or not, but my GirlChild says they are good.

I believe I have isolated the cause of my car problem.

This is the ignition coil.

My hypothesis:

Electricity is getting TO the ignition coil, and electricity is able to go THROUGH the spark plug wires, but the electricity is not getting THROUGH the ignition coil to the spark plug wires.

This caused a misfire while I was driving, (hence the lurch I felt when the car broke down,) and caused the car to shut down. Because the ignition coil is not working, spark is not getting to the spark plugs, causing the car to not start.

I think this is the problem.

Anyway, back on the baking subject, I forgot to post a picture of the pie I made yesterday.

Can you replace the coil to fix it? I have no idea if that's dumb question, or if the part is expensive.
