Any Home Bakers Here?

Wildly busy weekend, I helped with serving food at a wedding and a rehearsal dinner.

Today I needed to use up some apples, so I made apple fritters and I'm using the scraps to make some cider. My house smells amazing!!

You guys are teasing me with this! How about a recipe? Chocolate is one of my reasons for living. :drool
Sourdough chocolate cake is in the google sheet link on the first page of this thread.

I like the option of making a batch of chocolate starter only when you need it.

I have baked a sourdough chocolate that is very tasty!
:idunno No question is silly if you don't have the answer.
Is there an advantage of making a Chocolate starter,,,, VS using a regular starter, and just adding chocolate powder,,, (cocoa) into dough recipe?????

@Sally PB ,,, I read the starter recipe.. It is off limits for you as it is written. Do you still have the GF starter active??

I did read a blog that claimed that the chocolate starter add flavor to things like pancakes and an extra depth to chocolate desserts.

I would have to try it myself some time to see though.
