How to make pumpkin flour.

"Rehydrating pumpkin powder is very easy. Use a 4 water to 1 pumpkin powder ratio to rehydrate the amount you need.

For 1 cup of rehydrated pumpkin puree, place 1/4 cup of pumpkin powder in a bowl or measuring cup and pour 1 cup of very hot water over top. For 2 cups of pumpkin puree use 2 cups water and 1/2 cup pumpkin powder.

Let it sit for 20-30 minutes, then give it a stir.

It’s ready to use when it’s fully rehydrated and no dry lumps remain. The finer your pumpkin powder is the faster it will rehydrate."
Okay, so that's how you rehydrate pumpkin puree, but .... how do you start with a fresh pumpkin and turn it into a dry pumpkin powder, or flour? Or do you buy it some where?

If you click on that sentence I circled, (in your post.) it takes you to the site, and explains process of dehydrating, and so forth.

I made pumpkin puree, dried it and ground it to make the flour which is what you would have read if you had clicked on the link.

That is great that you won't have the big bill you thought you were going to have.

Incidental items we don't mind paying for.

I was concerned about you.
I was very relieved too, friends of mine had to foot a 7500€ bill, just for the hip replacement ( total cost had been about 15000€) , I will receive more bills, but the big ones have been covered, about 9000€ the hospital and 1500€ the hip replacement 😅 thank God the pension insurance totally covered the bill from the rehabilitation clinic, I was wasn’t sure before if I had gotten stuck with part of that bill too, so very happy and relived 😁

Made another loaf of sourdough yesterday. I'm trying to find a recipe for the bread machine that works for me. I'm the only one who likes it at our house so only need one small loaf a week. This one did not rise much, and it had a teaspoon of yeast in it as well as the starter, I think it may have had too little liquid.

When I retire I get a combination of health insurance form the University of California system and Medicare at age 65. I will have to pay a monthly fee for the extra coverage but the combination will pay for nearly everything with copays. A hip replacement would have a $200.00 copay for example
