Here's what I did today: (before baking)

After baking (they will get cream cheese frosting before serving):

I am disappointed they are not as pretty after rising as before, but they are delicious. They are based on Jeff Mauro's Cinnamon Roll recipe but without the orange flavoring or the orange topping, and I add a cherry from a can of cherry pie filling to each roll just before baking, in homage to a MIL's famous recipe.
