He must like them, he usually eats them as fast as I take them out of the oven! He wants me to experiment with jam filled peanut butter cookies. I'll let you know how they turn out.Hi, Iris! Would love to see pics of your bread and cookies. Larry is always bragging on your baking!![]()
Sounds good!He must like them, he usually eats them as fast as I take them out of the oven! He wants me to experiment with jam filled peanut butter cookies. I'll let you know how they turn out.
Those are beautiful, you did well! Before I had this oven, which has a Bread Proofing setting, I used to turn my oven on and set the timer for 3 minutes. It generally took about 10 to 12 minutes for the oven to preheat to 350. After 3 minutes, I'd turn the oven off and put my dough in, and it would be just about right to raise the dough.I made my first bread ever! Well, technically dinner rollsThis was a Texas Roadhouse copy cat recipe for their famous soft dinner rolls & it came out perfectly! I was worried at one point because my dough was not rising.... Turns out your house needs to be warmer than 62 degrees.... Got around it by turning oven on low and popping them in while it cooled down! I cant wait to try more bread recipes now that Im not scared of it, its so fun!
