I always wished for 2 more inches
on the other hand, as one friend put it, I used to find a lot of things since I was “so close to the ground”,
but that only worked till my eyesight went downhill

Finally threw out almost all of my pants/jeans, after the operation the legs kind of swelled up and never got back to their natural state, I was hoping they would get back to normal, since the next operation is looming on the horizon I must accept my pants no longer will fitbought a few new ones, but have to shorten them all, cos I am not very tall

Karen, YES....most of the time....I broke my hip and now walk with a walker. HateIt sounds like you stuck inside.
Have you had lymph nodes removed? I have read about that being a problem when they are removed with a tumor.Yes, I am, I am not taking anything right now, and the strange thing is, as long as I don’t wear anything constricting ( dress is fine) I don’t have any trouble, but wearing socks or pants which have a slim leg gives me problems after 1/2 hour or sothe seams leave impression, also the socks
I didn’t have the problem before the operation
the physiotherapist told me it likely comes from the lymphatic system, which uses muscles to get flowing, cos of the pain I don’t use the muscle pump the right way, so the lymph stays put instead of getting drained
Squatty bodies, unite! Five foot zero here.I think I may be 1/3 inch “taller”nooo, I fear I am just as “tall” as you are

I used to be five foot zero and a half but gravity stole that half inch off me. Height wise, that is. I seem to have gained several around the middle to compensate, somehow.... That really isn’t fun, on the other hand, the walker gives you freedom of motion you may not have without it? Hip surgery is major surgery, as doctors told me after ( before the operation, they said it’s easy as one, two, threeKaren, YES....most of the time....I broke my hip and now walk with a walker. Hate
to give the walker up.....afraid of falling. Doing my best. God is with me. Aria
