Any Home Bakers Here?

I always wished for 2 more inches 😉 on the other hand, as one friend put it, I used to find a lot of things since I was “so close to the ground”, 🤪 but that only worked till my eyesight went downhill 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think I've heard all of those and more.

My hubby says I only married him for his height of 6' 3".

Yes, I am, I am not taking anything right now, and the strange thing is, as long as I don’t wear anything constricting ( dress is fine) I don’t have any trouble, but wearing socks or pants which have a slim leg gives me problems after 1/2 hour or so 😕 the seams leave impression, also the socks 🙄 I didn’t have the problem before the operation 🤷🏻‍♀️ the physiotherapist told me it likely comes from the lymphatic system, which uses muscles to get flowing, cos of the pain I don’t use the muscle pump the right way, so the lymph stays put instead of getting drained

Make sure you tell your physician about the swelling because there are more things that can be related to the swelling besides the lymphatic system.

Karen, YES....most of the time....I broke my hip and now walk with a walker. Hate
to give the walker up.....afraid of falling. Doing my best. God is with me. Aria

Aria do you have a rolling walker?

A rolator is a much better type of walker.

This walker has brakes, a seat, and an area to carry things in.

Just look it up on the net they are great and it gives you more support.

That really isn’t fun, on the other hand, the walker gives you freedom of motion you may not have without it? Hip surgery is major surgery, as doctors told me after ( before the operation, they said it’s easy as one, two, three 🤪)

The hip surgery is not as entailed as a total knee.

This is related to the weight distribution from hip to knee.

Maybe during the operation they have messed with my lymph nodes 🤔
I have heard of nerves getting messed up with knee replacement so it is possible sadly.

@jnicholes, you've been quiet. How've you been?

I’ve been well, just very busy. Haven’t had much of an opportunity to post.

Lately, I’ve been growing microgreens using Aquaponics.

This kit started out as a science experiment so I could see if it really works, turns out it DOES work and it’s a lot more fun than I anticipated.

I just gotta find a use for microgreens in recipes. I’m still trying to figure that out.

Anyway, I was going to try this recipe tonight.
