I believe the temperature is supposed to be 425°F and is that high because of the cast iron skillet.

I am sure that I did bake it at 475°F but it has been quite awhile since I made one.

Made one loaf of sourdough Bread....Guess next time will score less. Aria

I also heat the oven way up high for sourdough if baking in an iron cast pot, just got a cranberry sourdough discard bread in the oven, it is rolled and with eggs, really am curious how it will turn out, will find out tomorrow morning
