Hey home bakers Thought I was sick yesterday.
Turns out I was exhausted,

Good afternoon everyone.

I am exhausted. My grandpa returned home yesterday, and until we get them into an assisted-living/memory care facility, I have to take care of them while everyone else is at work. It is
very exhausting.

That was a little joke.

Anyway, I got my second egg. Not sure if it was laid last night or this morning, it was pretty cold when I got it. Same chicken, the austra white.

I think I need about six of these to make a quiche. Each egg so far has been 1.5 ounces. According to egg sizes, that is small. A normal quiche recipe that takes large eggs takes about four eggs in the recipe I found. I think that means I need about six eggs for a farm fresh quiche.

Assuming I did the math right.

Anyway, I’m gonna go take a nap.

I was sitting with the chickens, just relaxing with them. I guess I accidentally dozed off.
