Good evening everyone,

I’ve had a rough day. I would rather not talk about it.

On a sidenote, I’ve been getting a lot of eggs. This surprises me, because I thought they were supposed to slow down in the fall.

27 eggs total.

I need ideas, what can I do with a lot of eggs? I’ve made quiche, I’ve made eggnog, and I’ll gladly make them again. However, I’m looking for more ideas.

You realize you can freeze the quiche.

I have had 4 in the freezer at a time.

If Pullets start laying before Winter, they usually lay through the first winter. They will molt next fall.

No, I didn’t realize that.

Just make the quiche and freeze it before cooking.

Once it is frozen I seal it with my vacuum sealer and just stack them.

In all honesty, I’ve lost track of who’s laying and who’s not. I’m pretty sure all of them are laying.

They're still new at this. Sometimes it take awhile before a pullet gets her system "in tune."
