Lol sorry the acted like it sounds like my husband when ever he gets sick... I glad yours didnt die!!
Not all of us are like that--I have too many things to take care of to be a baby when sick....

 
And so it begins......first batch of hot cross buns in the breadmaker! Thought I'd do chocolate chip ones for a change.
 
I read somewhere you cook it for so long and then shut the oven off and leave it in there for several hours and it won't crack.

That's what my recipe calls for. Bake and leave in the oven 5-6 hours. The first time I made it, no cracking. This time? Cracked!

Oh well, DH said it still looks delicious and he wants a piece for breakfast (guess that IS when his b-day starts, lol).

Lol yeah he a big baby ron lol he also 22 so he has olenty of time to improve lol i am 25 as if the 25 of this month lol

Edited to add baking for 3/4 hr at 200c was too long. Five minutes before my timer went off I could smell it starting to burn. So probably closer to 35 minutes.


And my chocolate hot cross buns. Turned out yummy!

Very common flavor in the shops over here now days.
