Mincemeat pie.

Recipe for the filling:

https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/12587/mincemeat-pie-filling/

All I did was put it in some double pie crust, and bake it at 350F for about 20 minutes.

Note to self, though. Use fresh apples next time instead of rehydrated apples.

Grandma always liked mincemeat pie, thanks for brining back good memories.

How do you brine memories? Do you just pull them out of your head and put them in saltwater brine?

Sorry, I was just pulling a joke from your typo.

Seriously, I’m glad I could bring back good memories.

My family loved the mincemeat pie. Someone else was interested as well.

I set the pie down near his tank to preheat the oven. When I got back, he was showing interest in the pie. I held it up and he swam to it.

I swear, this fish is interested in my cooking.
Silly Fish!

Baked this plum cake. It is Baking powder raised. It is quick. Much shorter time VS Yeast raised cakes.
I posted dough recipe previously. I had these plums on the counter,, and they needed to be eaten, or used up baking. I chose option #2 :frow
