I’m actually thinking about making this recipe for Christmas and having these meringue mushrooms “growing“ out of it.

That was the purpose of the experiment. I wanted to see if these would work so I could put them on a cake that looks like a log.

We have RAIN...all our Snow GONE. Dark gloomy Day. 40

We had freezing fog today. I had to scrape the ice off of the window and then drive through fog.

I have a bread machine- and a neighbor wanted to give me a jar of honey to be nice because I lost my adult flock to a weasel. He was going to loan me a trap, but it was not needed, so I got honey instead. And I made bread.

Gosh I’m sorry about your flock! Very happy you made bread though! I’m stirring together a couple loaves of sourdough tonight.

I still can’t bake cos my mill broke down, to get it fixed, I have to ship it to the producer, Christmas madness is going on here last monday, DHL shipped 12 million packages in one day and it will get worse, they hired 17000 extra , but they are not very reliable ( I usually have the same person bring me my packages from DHL unless he is on vacation) so going to the post office it total madness with very long waiting time, did I mention the mill weighs „a ton“ then, the mill requires a transportation securement in form of 2 long screws …I bought it over 20 years ago, don’t ask me, where they are I don’t buy flour, I just have grain…and lastly, I finally got my chickens back, but of course the youngest being 4 years old, they won’t lay an egg before maybe February

In regards to flour,,, I'm just the opposite position. I don't have a mill,,,, or a source of grains.
I'm a City Slicker,, so no grains available nearby. I'm sure I could source some on line, and have them delivered,,, but that would be not cost effective for me at least.
I have no quarrel with the flours I can purchase.
