Any Home Bakers Here?

I'm considering making a banana cake. Have a few extra ripe bananas.
Anyone have any suggestions on making one , other than the standard ordinary type?
Always open to experimenting.

Picked up some rather interesting sushi ingredients today.

I had to drive 2 hours to get this stuff.

I also got sea urchin (Uni) in the mail. It should be here April.

I’m planning a big spring sushi party, so I need to start getting stuff now, especially the hard to get stuff.

I now need:
Sushi shrimp
Sashimi grade tuna
Sashimi grade salmon
And maybe more salmon caviar

I still got plenty of time to get the ingredients.

Oh wow! That sounds like fun. How many people, and do they all bring something? Lots of different sushi dishes?

Actually, we are planning a sushi party game. Here’s what I got so far. If you have any ideas for rules or amendments, let me know.

SUSHI GAME

Gameplay: Grab a plate, eat, and repeat.

Rules:

Plates must be labeled with the sushi name on them and the point amount. Name and points must be coverable by an inverted bowl

Plates are limited to one piece of sushi per plate.

Plates must be stacked in the order they are eaten.

You must finish a plate before grabbing a new plate.

Plates must be covered with an inverted bowl.

Game time is 1.5 minutes long.

If you can’t eat the sushi for whatever reason, go to the garbage can and spit it out. Hold onto the plate.

Scoring is as follows:

Uni 1000 points
Toro 600 points
Ebi 350 points
Ikura 250 points
Tekka 200 points
Tamago 150 points
Kappa 50 points
Miso 20 points

Combos up to 5x points for eating the same sushi multiple times in a row.

Setup:

3 long tables are set up in a u shape. Sushi is placed on the tables randomly covered with an inverted bowl. Players stand inside the u shape.

Goal: to get the most points in 90 seconds.

Whoever has the most points at the end wins.
