I dry starter in my dehydrator and using a wax paper method. This time I am using waxed paper.

My dehydrator does not go low enough for yogurt so I use the lowest setting
So, the yogurt setting shouldn't bother it any. I'll probably dry some of mine, I've got some in the freezer, but dried would be easier to deal with I think.

Yesterday I made the Chocolate & Peanut Butter Cheese Cake. Not bad, but the chocolate recipe needs some tweaking (it wasn't very chocolatey tasting). Here's the recipe for the peanut butter one, it was good.

EASY PEANUT BUTTER CHEESE CAKE
Crust:
2 Cups crushed graham crackers
2 Tab sugar
1/2 Cup unsalted butter, melted
3 Tab chocolate sprinkles

Filling:
1 Cup heavy whipping cream
8 oz. cream cheese
1 Cup creamy peanut butter
1 Cup confectioners sugar

Crust:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350*.
2. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter & sugar. Stir in sprinkles.
3. Press into bottom & part way up the sides of 9" springform pan.
4. Bake 5-7 minutes.
5. Cool to room temperature.

Filling:
1. Using an electric mixer, whip heavy cream until light & fluffy. Put in the refrigerator.
2. Whip cream cheese, confectioners sugar and peanut butter until light & fluffy.
3. Fold in whipped heavy cream. Pour into crust.
4. Place in freezer 1-2 hours.
5. Remove from freezer and top with additional whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.

It should be fine and drying is a great way to save it. It can stay dry for years

You're welcome Penny, hope you enjoy it!
