Any Home Bakers Here?

Very cute!
Finally, here is a picture of my Halloween goodies, witches hats and ghosts: I think the ghosts would have looked better if they had been completely covered in the white chocolate but that would have taken 2 bags of the chips and I only had 1. Oh well, it looks like DH and I will probably eat most of them anyway, so probably best like this (save all those calories you know).

Darn. I should have snapped a picture before I shipped them off.
I think the mummies turned out best because I had googly candy eyes. I did the ghosts like you did yours, but both I only spread the white chocolate on the tops. I thought they'd be too sweet to eat otherwise.
I did not make hats. I did not know how to pack them so they would arrive in one piece.

I need to make some rice Krispie treats with candy corn in it for my husband's class tomorrow.
I have to wait until the last moment to open the candy corn though. I have zero candy corn resistance. Evil stuff that.

I don't dare buy candy corn (or those little orange candy pumpkins around Thanksgiving). That stuff is addictive!

These are so durn adorable!

Not baking, but have y'all ever heard of gummy chicken feet. LOL. I never had but someone told me about them. Evidently only available at halloween and in some grocery stores. So had to do a google search: Now gotta find me some.

Sunflour I saw them online too when I was Googling something the other day. They are cute! Let me know if you find some (and where).

Will do. Gonna go on an expedition Friday.

She told me she found them at Fresh Market and Krogers, but she usually buys all they have , a great hit at her halloween parties :(

The homemade egg noodles were pretty good. I made chicken & noodles with them, DH went back for 2nds so guess they got his seal of approval. They weren't tough to make but it did take time. They were supposed to be dry in about 2 hours and what with all our humidity it took 4. I'll probably make them again at some point.

Impressive, glad they turned out well.

I'm getting jealous of the pasta making.
