Any Home Bakers Here?

I am going to try this ginger bread recipe tomorrow we going to make ginger bread men.
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup light brown sugar
7 table spoons butter
1 egg
4 tablespoons corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
Its out of the gingerbread man book lol we see how good it is.
 
Is the recipe in the index? If not, please post it….I really want a good gingerbread cookie recipe.

It's kind of different for a cookie, you cook it in a sauce pan and then knead the dough. Be sure to use a sauce pan large enough to account for the foaming that happens when the baking soda is stirred in (plus you'll be adding 3 1/2 Cups of flour to the mix. The directions call for rolling it out 1/4" but they puff up too much for me, I like to roll them really thin (about 1/8"). Be sure to use plenty of flour on your rolling surface, the kneading process sucks up quite a bit.

This makes such tasty cookies, not too sweet and not too overwhelming with the spices.

they have a Graham cracker bottom crust and marshmallow filling....were they good
