I second keep an eye on your temp, especially after a c-section. Better to be safe then sorry, if you still feel that way tomorrow you might want to go in.

As for the kids, give Lucy warm baths to help with the cold. I use DoTerra essential oils and melaleuca is amazing for colds. I just rub it on my sons chest and back. They also have a blend called breath that is great, but if you don't have that, warm baths or showers and if she will sit, let her watch movies so she isn't all over you. For the baby, when they are that little you can lay them on a blanket and prop up colorful books (obviously out of reach) around them. I had a kid I did that with just lay and look around him at all the books forever. I was in a lot of pain for awhile after my c-section, so I would swaddled my son and put him in the pack and play by the window and he just looked out the window and slept. I was lucky he was pretty happy with that and just cried when he was hungry it needed to be changed. Sorry I can't be of more help. Hang in there and don't mess around if your temp starts to go up!

I wont and i gave birth vagainally with not complications.

Oh for some reason I thought you had a c-section. Must have been someone on another thread I was thinking of. Still, I would do the same thing. Keep a close eye on your temp and on how painful your stomach is. Better to be safe. I hope you feel better soon.

I have my grain mill update, it works great!

The grain mill attached to the my mixer

This is the flour I ground in the mill and the berries are on the right. I made about 4 cups of flour.

I used organic molasses for the sweetener and added AP flour for the rest of the flour in the recipe. That make it a 50\50 ratio of the home ground flour to the AP flour.

The bread turned out great! I have hard white wheat, spelt and whole corn in my cart for azure standard. I need to get $50.00 to make the minimum order for this months drop. A truck comes down I-5 from Washington to drop off orders every 4 weeks.

The hard wheat is for flour. I suspect the wheat berries I used are not hard white--not meant for making bread flour.

When I get the hard white wheat berries, I will make a batch using all home ground flour!

Ron, that grinder is one cool looking attachment! So it's all made of metal, no plastic? There won't be anything standing in your way of making cornmeal from popcorn now.

@Jesusfreak101 Hope you are feeling better today.

@ronott1 Very impressive - didn't imagine the mill to be that large. The flour and bread look great.

Was there flour dust flying around during the grinding?

Thats really cool ron and i feel better then what i did. I think sleep helped lately lucy been waking up in between when i am up to feed joshua so i havent gotten much in the way of sleep the last to nights she slept all night so thats been helping.

Ron That is very cool looks yummie!
I love your mixer!

Jesusfreak101 Especially when nursing if I had an upset stomach I used peppermint either Tea or just melt a candycane or other type of peppermint candy. The warm water and peppermint really help to settle a upset tummy.
