@sunflour I have that same scale and a really big one. We used both in our store and you're right, the one you got is a good one. Very accurate.

For real, you have the same one Sis?

i want yall to hold me to this so i dont get lazy (while i was pregnant lucy reverted back to diapers because she refused to use the potty, little brat was fully trained even at night at 2). In march lucy turns three i want to have her fully out of diapers by then. We started a potty chart because i grew tired of waiting for her to say she was ready to start again. Well as soon as i explained if she gets four squares colored in ego she goes potty four times we do something fun she agreed and this times goal is for fishing. As soon as she went to try and she was going to get off i reminded her of her prize for going she went on cue so i know she knows how so its time to get serious. She likes doing things out doors so hopefully i can come up with enough things to keep her interesting and not getting bored and wanting to quit.

made a wonderful "creation" last night that goes in the apple pie category (???maybe). Didn't have pie crust or the ingredients to make one so I used pillsbury rolls in a can. Flattened them out and formed them all together to make a "crust" sprinkled with a mix of cinnamon, maple sugar and nutmeg added apple filling mixture and away we went!! I was sure this was going to be a "nailed it" flop however I can say I will not be using regular pie crust again anytime soon. It was heaven. So in a pie pinch use canned biscuit dough!!!

In my experience, when it becomes a power struggle, then you have lost. My son didn't potty train until he was three, they will when they are ready. It sounds like she knows and it's becomes a game and with the new baby, this is probably a way for her to get attention. If she doesn't like getting wet, out her in underwear and she will figure it out, some kids HATE that and that will make them use the potty because there is a natural consequence and they don't like it. Of course, I had the kid who didn't care and would just keep going like he didn't just wet himself

lucky me! We did a sticker chart and he got to get a big sticker for going poop and a little one for pee. When he got ten, he could get a piece of chocolate or a little toy (I had a little bin with toys from $ tree). But as soon as I started to get mad and he saw it, he went into power struggle mode and I couldn't force him to go, even though I knew he needed to. So if he wouldn't go, I would ignore him until he went and then he would decide he was ready and go and get praised. If he wet himself, I would strip his cloths, hand him a baby wipe and tell him to clean himself and walk away. I would peak in to make sure he did it, but once he realized I wasn't going to fight him, he started using the potty no problem.

I love gum-mies ( spell check won't let me type that. LOL). Can over dose on those. Let us know how they turn out, and post pic. They have to be more nutritious than store bought.

Lol she cares only if she is in cloth if its pull ups or a diaper she doesnt. I told charles the diaper that we have are the last i am buying for her because she going in cloth training pants we have for her. I bought a carpet cleaner so i am ready for accidents plus i am obsessed with keeping the floor clean for joshua with us having chickens. She gone a few times this week when asked but thats only been twice and the she stopped so i figure we would try this. She cant wipe herself correctly i have to help her in the bathroom other wise she drips everywhere. We did the candy/ toy thing the first time. It worked great expect she be came difficult about not getting it for trying i figure we would try something new

Activities are a great reward. Also if she is really that close, I would switch her to cloth, even panties. At very first you will need to keep spare clothes around. But being wet is uncomfortable, and Thing 1 is very proud of her pretty panties. You might find that she very quickly becomes potty trained, because she does not want to mess her undies.
