Any Home Bakers Here?

Have fun!
My kitchen is not functional because of new counters being installed. The job was messed up so we have to wait until Thursday to get the sink hooked up. The installers come back tomorrow and then we have to wait a day before installing the fixtures.

I really miss baking! This weekend I want to bake sourdough bread, loaf bread and an angel food cake for Fathers day.

Here's hoping your kitchen is complete and functioning soon! :fl

With the help of my summer teenager baking assistant, we got 3 cakes done for a luncheon at work today...Texas sheet cake, Hummingbird and Strawberry. Hope the ladies coming will enjoy them.

@ViolinPlayer123, chicken pot pie sounds good...a piece of that for breakfast would be great :drool

Grocery day I usually do not cook went to Chinese restaurant we all love called the Great Wall of China about 10 miles away

Wish we had a good Chinese restaurant near us. There is one in town but even though they advertise as being MSG-free, the one & only time we ate there, both DH & I ended up with "issues".

The luncheon went well yesterday, the ladies enjoyed their food (and the desserts!). We even got a new couple in for dinner last night that had heard from the lunch ladies about how good our restaurant was. Nice to know they were already spreading the word.

Ron, is your kitchen all back in order now?

I didn't realize you also do dinner there. No wonder your work days are so long.
Glad the Red Hatters had fun.

Hi sis!
We open for lunch at 11:00, switch to the dinner menu at 4:00pm and the last seating is at 7:00pm. Feel free to drop in anytime :) I'll even give you my employee discount.

Yesterday was one of those 15 hour days, so yes, it was long. But seeing people enjoy what you make helps make it easier. And if I'm not mistaken, you're pretty familiar with long work days too, lol (what's wrong with us?)o_O
