Any Home Bakers Here?

this is the 1960 recipe I am going to use for a custard pie tried and true wisconsin ladies knew how to bake.
3 eggs or 6 yolks
1/2 c sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 c milk (scalded)
1/2 recipe for plain pastry or 1 store bought crust
Beat eggs, add sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla. Slowly add milk. Mix well and pour into pastry lined pie plate. Bake in 450 degree oven for 10 minutes, reduce heat then bake about 25 minutes in 325 degree oven .
