Any Home Bakers Here?

well first time we had the new stove hooked up no leaks it started on fire gas pouring out of it :ducI ran to shut off the tank BF was outside saying HUH WHATS UP? FIRE!!!! James had grabbed the extinguisher to put it out and making mess from hell... 4 hours later white is gone  stove is in the garage o_O old electric back in the house :hit
phone this morning appliance store called this morning I had called yesterday a tad stressed  their appliance repair guy is bringing a brand new stove tomorrow we had bought a cool 5 burner but 3 years old it will be a 5 burner also new we went to the right place:yesss:

Whoa, that's a bit too much excitement in the kitchen! Glad you were ok.

I am late with this, since we have move way past @ronott1 's post on blueberry muffins, BUT, I prefer blueberry muffins made with fresh ground whole wheat flour. The one time I prefer the red wheat to the white wheat. For some reason, the strong wheat flavor of whole wheat really accents the taste of blueberries.

Has anyone tried baking in a crock pot? I picked up a magazine with a bunch of crock pot recipes for things like cookie bars, cakes, etc.

Guess I'll have to give it a go and see what happens.

That is a good tip!
I have a bag of Oat fiber that I have used to replace 1\2 cup of white flour in the blue berry muffin recipe. It adds a nice flavor to the muffins along with a lot of fiber

I have baked in a Nesco, but never in a crock-pot. Wait, I made Molten Lava cake in a crock-pot - it was a recipe specifically for being made in a crock-pot. It was so good- the edges were almost crispy and the gooey, fudgy center was to die for. I think the new crockpot I got has cake recipes in it.

I bet oats would add a nice touch to Blueberry muffins. I'll have to try that next.
Hard red wheat flour is also good as Indian Fry Bread. I almost forgot those also. See, 2 things that I like with red wheat flour.

The oat fiber is a powder which mixes very well with flour in recipes. It has a nice flavor compared to the corn fiber that has almost no flavor.

Both add a lot of fiber which is very good for diabetics and good for non diabetics too.
Mine is from Amazon:
