They look great!Recipe isn't very good, but was fun to make. Will make some with a yummier recipe (experimental), and make some permanent ones out of salt dough.

Sounds good!We are having hamburgers tonight. I soak a fine bulgar wheat and then add diced onion and the bulgar to 93% lean....the bulgar and water makes the hamburger juicy. We have multi grain bread to go with them and roasted potatoes, and garden squash. Aria
I have 4 pullets of the ones Whiting sent to Arkansas. One of them sits on the feeder in their hutch. I have scoop the poo out.Ron I wanted you to know....we are enjoying our Dr. Whiting Chickens. They lay LARGE BLUE eggs. One complaint....they roost on our containers of feed. EEK....we have had Silkies and they do not roost. My husband did put up a roosting bar for Dr. Whitings
....they sometimes prefer the plastic bins. A cleaning job...we do not like. Aria
Sourdough BISCUITS
1 tb Active Dry Yeast 1 c Sourdough starter
1 1/4 c Water-Lukewarm 5 c Bread flour
1/3 c Sugar Melted butter or Margarine
3/4 ts Salt
If you desire dissolve the yeast in warm water with a little sugar till bubbly. Sourdough is a yeast but rises faster with added commercial yeast. In a large mixing bowl add sugar, salt, sourdough starter, yeast and flour. Cover; set in warm spot and let rise until double. Punch down and turn out onto floured work surface. Roll out to 3/4 inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Dip both sides in butter or oil, and place on
well-greased baking sheet. Let rise 15 min.
Bake at 425 - 20 min. or until golden brown.

I found some dried sourdough starter in the cupboard that's been there for at least a yearI managed to successfully revive it and use it
