I'm stuffed. DIL made a butt ton of sides: Mashed Potatoes, Turnip Au gratin, Brussels and Bacon, Green Bean Casserole, Spiced Apples. I made the NY Strip Roast, Butternut squash soup, Two loaves of bread (rye and white) and mushroom gravy. Plus we had deviled eggs and shrimp cocktail. No room for pies or soup. Stuffed. :oops: I'll post pics of the bread later.
 
Turkey, stuffing, veggies, fruit, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, rice, buns, jellies cranberries, cranberry bread, and pickles oh my! And the pies!

Does everyone have thanksgiving meal for supper or lunch? We always do lunch.

Ours usually falls somewhere in the middle between lunch and supper. Like today, it was around 3pm when we ate.

The sides are definitely an important part of the meal...how nice your DIL made such a nice assortment of them!
