Any Home Bakers Here?

Penny, I post and it just sit there. I turn the computer off. Come back and the post is not THERE...so I post again. I have been in touch with Contact Us and hopefully they can see WHAT IS GOING ON. When I go to the bottom of page ther is post reply and a space to type...OTHER TIMES there is no place to type. EEK.

On another note: I went to the Index (SUPER, thanks Debby) and the first recipe from jknox1982 is a bread recipe. I have been trying and trying to find a White Bread for my husband (YES, HE IS FUSSY) Made the first bread recipe in the index and he said: "Yes this is the Bread I like". It is real simple, 3 cups of warm water 1 1/2 tlbs salt 1 1/2 tlbs yeast 6 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour. Simple and he loves it.

Today: I mixed my Multi Grain Bread in the Universal Vintage Bread Bucket. It is now in the tins rising. Sorry about the
"stuttering", Aria P.S. on this reply area there is no place to upload) EEK I clicked on Post Reply and message is just sitting here.

Glad you found an easy white bread recipe your DH likes!

I clicked the post reply again and upload a file is there.
AND the bread is not baking...looks good. I think I will be using the
Bread Bucket. My Kitchen Aid of many years....just quit.

My husband usually can fix everything. He cannot make parts. We have checked locally, called Kitchen Aid and there are NO PARTS available. My husband is going to check the companies on parts on the computer and see what he can locate. He has the Kitchen Aid
Mixer apart and the metal gear, some of the "teeth" are wore. If you locates the part...he can put it back together. In the interum
I will be using my Old Bread Bucket. Aria

Debby so am I. I was getting frustrated. Such a fussy eater. The breads I found on this site that I tried were GREAT. But, did not
taste good to him. This one does. SUCCESS...YES and the recipe is simple, easy. YES. Aria

Everyone has different tastes is all. The world would be a less interesting place if we all liked the exact same thing.

Got a dumb bread question... My refrigerator whole wheat bread has fallen to about 1 3/4 quarts, where my white was closer to 3 when I separated it. If I make all of into one loaf, instead of separating into two what would appropriate cooking time be. For a single loaf I generally do 30-35 minutes covered and 10-15 uncovered. Or should I just separate as planned and see how well it rises?
