This is the Reuben Stomboli I made yesterday. It was really good!

REUBEN STROMBOLI

1 pizza dough ball (my recipe #588)
3/4 pounds pastrami, sliced
12 slices Swiss cheese
12 ounces sauerkraut
Egg for egg wash
Caraway seeds

Russian Dressing
1 Cup mayo
1/4 Cup ketchup
2 Tab minced dill pickles
1 Tab minced onion
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1. Preheat oven to 375*. Roll out pizza dough into a rectangular shape (not too thin).
2. Place a layer of pastrami, a layer of cheese and another layer of pastrami over the pizza dough, leaving a 1" border. Squeeze excess liquid out of the sauerkraut. Add sauerkraut on top of the pastrami.
3. Paint egg wash along one long side of the dough. Roll up pizza dough and pinch the seams. Brush egg wash over the whole Stromboli. Sprinkle caraway seeds over the egg wash.
4. Bake on a parchment lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes.
5. While Stromboli is in the oven, combine all the dressing ingredients in a bowl.
6. Remove Stromboli from the oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with the dressing.

Nice compliment there Dig I made basic paste canned sauce with burger and italian jimmy dean sausage and a loaf of "italian" bread put my italian seasoning in it
That sounds yummy! My son loves Jimmy Dean.
It is great to see you getting into sourdough. I am baking sourdough olive bread today. The first one is about done baking and the second round will then go in.

I will get a picture of them
Can’t wait!
