Hello,

Jam just got done sealing. I would post pictures, but my phone went out of commission. It broke.

It looks SO GOOD though!

Jared
Plum jam is like that!

Make sure at least 1\3 of them are not ripe--a bit green.

It will taste wonderful though and can be used like a syrup

Hello,

About one third were not ripe. I picked them and saw after they were still a little green. THAT was lucky! I didnt know 1/3 had to be a little green!

Jared
Adding a bit of lemon juice can help too.

I likely do not cook juice enough. I am attaching a pdf with the recipe.

To determine whether or not the jelly is done cooking, use a candy thermometer and the "sheeting method," described below. Don't use overripe fruit for jelly, as it may not set up well.

It depends on the variety of plum. Yours must be a later variety.

Thanks for the tiramisu recipe!
