I get yogurt like that sometimes when I start with the powdered packet instead of the last batch of starter. Cultures for health warns that this can happen. It took three batches for the piima to get going and making the yogurt correctly.Ron, the incubator wasn’t the problem. My jumping to conclusions was. I had 1/4 cup whey. It was all at the top.
