We are rehabing a 1947 home, the kitchen is coming back together and in the meantime we have built a temporary kitchen in what's going to be a Service Pantry. I had an oven plugged in in the old kitchen, but ripping everything out deemed it "in the way", so now it's on the porch of my Little Shop. I'm hoping to be able to cook a Thanksgiving Dinner this year!It is great having you here!
It is hard when the oven is not hooked up

Yes. We gutted the ceiling out and raised the roof to the roofline. I have this 6 burner Vulcan stove and I wanted all the ventilation I can get, besides the stove hoods. It really is making a huge difference in the feel of the space. The ceiling is tongue and groove Cypress (primed right now). It did have a working chimney, but someone prior to us buying it, demoed the chimney from the attic space upward. We saved the brick though for future use. You can see how low the ceiling was before from this photo. My poor lone oven! What a nice high ceiling! Is that in the kitchen?
