Vanilla butter Frosting

1\4 C Butter
3.5C powdered sugar
4-5 tsp milk
1tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla. Alternately add remain sugar with milk. Beat until fluffy with a mixer.

Fluffy White Frosting

1C White sugar
1\3 C water
1\4 tsp cream of tartar
2 Egg Whites
1 tsp vanilla

In a large sauce pan, stir together sugar water and cream of tartar. Cook over medium high heat until the sugar dissolves and mix is bubbly. Set aside to cool.

In a medium mixing bowl, whip the egg whites and vanilla to soft peaks using a mixer. Gradually add the sugar mixture while whipping constantly until stiff peaks form, about 7 to 10 minutes. Frost the cake of your choice.

Butter Frosting

1 C milk
5 TBL Flour
1 C butter
1 C granulated sugar
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla

Combine milk and flour in a medium to large sauce pan. Whisk while cold. Cook until thick at medium heat. Cool completely. Beat Butter and sugar together for 4 minutes. Add cooled milk and flour mixture and beat 4 more minutes. Add salt and vanilla and beat 2 more minutes.

Can be piped. If coloring, add before chilling. Keep refrigerated.

Chocolate American Buttercream

Frosts 2 dozen cupcakes.

2 sticks (1 cup) Softened Butter
4 Cups Powdered Sugar
2/3 (?) cup Cocoa powder
2 teaspoons milk
1/4 tsp salt

1. Cream Butter for 3 minutes in stand mixer.
2. Add 1 cup of sugar at a time mixing for a minute between each cup.
3. Sift in cocoa and beat for another minute.
4. Add milk to thin, as well as the salt, and beat for another minute or so.

This summer my go too quick breakfast was my lemon glazed blueberry biscuits... I'm sitting here thinking what to do with my frozen strawberries and I've decided I'm going to make strawberry biscuits... They won't be glazed bc..... *Gasp* I'm out of confectioner's sugar..... Nooo ooooo..... Lol
 
Strawberry lemonade biscuits were really good. Next time I'm going to use my homemade strawberry jam instead of fresh strawberries. My oldest has it in his head he only likes strawberry man, not real strawberries... Lol
