A big spoonfull of sugar.
*Preheat oven to 450°F
*Whisk or sift flour and sugar.
*cut shortening into flour until it is crumbly
*add buttermilk
*with floured hands pat out biscuits.
*bake for 15 minutes or until done.
This is my base recipe. I add blueberries sometimes. This morning I added strawberries and a drop lemon extract. I don't measure the add ins. I just add until I like the way it looks. The extract is added to my milk. The fruit is added as I'm patting out each biscuit.
I get 8. You can make them as big or small as you'd like. Just have to adjust the cooking time.Looks good Audie! About how many biscuits do you get from the recipe (I'm assuming they are big ones?)?

Thanks wydreamer....I will try. AriaI don't think you can delete conversations.
But you can "Leave" a conversation, which takes it off your conversation list.
to do this - select the conversation or conversations by clicking the empty box - they should turn yellow.
Then a window should pop up when you hover over the conversation - select OTHER OPTIONS drop down list.
Select "Leave thread"
Click on Conversations. It should bring up a screen labelled Conversations with a list of conversations below it. Each conversation will have a check box next to it. Clicking on the check box will bring up a selection box that says other actions clicking on that will bring up a drop box of selections including leave conversation.Sorry....I need help.....want to clear conversations. I did try
There is no empty box to click? I did click conversation options and it did turn Yellow. Now what? No empty box. No leave thread.
Lost again. HELP Aria
