Just finished making the venison chili, and it is very delicious.

I'm a wuss when it comes to spice, so I did not make it too spicy.

I'm making cake's for the fall fest @ my school and was wondering if anyone had any good frosting recipes. Here's a list of the cakes I'm making:
Ginger bread cake,
Chocolate chip cake,
Pineapple cake,
And Coconut cake

I didn't place in the contest, but it was still very fun and there was not much chili left over from my pot.

@4-H chicken shower here is a cake and frosting recipe that I use frequently. It is extremely good. If you want, you could just do the frosting part. Whatever fits your situation.

My pineapple cake recipe has a recipe for frosting that goes with it. It is a hit everywhere I take it:

Pineapple Cake

2C. flour
1-20 oz can Crushed Pineapple
2C. sugar
2 eggs
2t. baking soda
½t. Salt

Sift dry Ingredients into large bowl and stir to mix. Lighty scramble eggs. Add Pineapple and eggs to dry ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon.

Put in a greased (spray pam) 9x13 pan.

Bake at 350º for 45-50 min.

Frosting

8oz cream cheese(softened)
1 stick butter(softened)
1C. powdered sugar

To soften, place cream cheese and butter on a microwave plate and microwave for 15 -25 seconds or so.

In a medium bowl, beat until fluffy with a hand mixer & put on hot cake - cover with chopped walnuts if desired.

That surprises about your chilie for me Pizza went well for us, Son spent first shift handing out treats. Pineapple here does not have fans

I think I may make some pancakes this morning. I was just going to grab a cliff bar but pancakes sound so much better. There hasn't been much baking going on here lately. The kids Halloween candy has been good enough
