@penny1960, Meyer lemons are pretty easy to grow. Just keep in mind that Citrus will not tolerate any Frost. They will fruit in pots, I have a massive lemon on mine right now. There is a website that I ordered mine from called fast-growing-trees. They're a good company, and they have a lot of information about how to grow the plants.
My banana has yet to fruit, but it will fruit soon according to my observations.
