Any Home Bakers Here?

I'm having trouble finding them.

I brush my top crust with egg white and then sprinkle with sugar. My crust recipe does not get soggy thankfully. The lattice is what I want to try. I’m afraid I’ll make a mess of it though.

It's a basic weave: over and under. Measure the strips so they are approximately the same width.Crimp the ends into the edge after you complete the weave. I bet you are a very good baker,and just haven't tried it yet. I made the first one for my hubby cause he is a very forgiving audience!

I love to bake...especially for bridal and baby showers and Christmas...

I am not a decorator by any stretch of the imaginations! My cakes look like a nearsighted chicken frosted them...

I’ve been told I should sell what I make but just can’t do it. I went to my sisters for Christmas and she bought some cookies from a new in home business in town to give them a try. I brought my tray of goodies as I always do. Sister packaged up boughten stuff and was going to drop it off where she works. She made me try it first. My other sister wouldn’t try it. She paid $48 for what she got. I should maybe thing about selling my stuff if she gets that much for this. She may have had more in the kitchen that wasn’t put out.

Good grief DMC...$48 for cookies decorated like that? Heck, they look as bad as mine and there's no way I'd feel right charging anyone for them.
