:caf So is it normal for the bread to stand upright, and run around the bowl when using the KitchenAid?
That is normal but if you make a large batch, the mixer can start walking on the counter. It is best to not leave the room when making dough

I agree! If I hadn’t been in the room, I couldn’t have enjoyed the show!
You do realize I meant the thing was a log, running around the edge of the bowl with the hook chasing after it, right?
 I even stopped the mixer, lifted the head, and doubled the dough on the bottom. It immediately went back to a log, and up against the side with the dough hook just pushing it around the edge. I’ve seen a machine knead dough. Didn’t look anything like this! This was hysterical!

Yes!

It might have had a bit too much flour but still turned out nice

You all remember the multi-cookie cookie cutter I ordered around Christmas? I tried it out today. Just to save you all the same mistake...do NOT bother with getting it, I'm not pleased with it. The cutters don't cut clean, so every cookie I either had to trim up or leave ragged. Frustrating and disappointing. :(

Thanks for the review!

Thats what mine does with the dough hook.
I'm re-making the sugar cookies today. I'm experimenting on frostings as I wasn't 100% satisfied with the previous one. And I have new Wilton gel colors to try out :wee

Funny the things we bakers get excited about!
Can’t wait to see them!
Well, back to icing cookies. Let me tell you, this is hard! I'm exhausted.
I totally get it!!
