Any Home Bakers Here?

I’m juicing and zesting lemon right now (okay, I stopped to turn down my tablet, and got on here for a minute). I’m not decided on what to make, but lemon bars just popped in my head, and have me grinning with glee!

Oooh, lemon bars! Love them! And something citrusy sounds good with all the winter everyone has been living with.

Winter Weather Warning for today, forecast of 8-12" with winds of 15-20 mph. DH went to work. I stayed home and took a snow day. I do not like to be on bad roads when they forecast hazardous travel.
I don’t either!! My husband brought me to work today, then he drove me to town for a haircut. Roads are filling in pretty good today. We went down a road that was a little deep on the way home to take pictures of these deer. Poor things are having a hard time finding food.

I broke out in goosebumps seeing your pictures DMC! Now I need you to show me a picture of a hot cup of cocoa and a warm fireplace

with all this talk of cold weather, we really need to cook stuff that will warm us up. We only had like 2 to 3 in of snow here in Nampa. It's not that bad, unless you're driving on it, and you are Reckless, like a lot of the other drivers here. Truth be told, they don't really know how to drive in the snow. Lot of accidents happen because people were driving too fast on slick roads.

How do I deal with this? Well, I just say that I grew up in North Idaho for 17 years, the snow and weather is a lot worse up there, and I'm used to it.

Having chicken and dumplings tonight. Corned venison is in the Brine, and will be ready on Sunday.
